Skylink LED Guide
The power LED indicator located on the top panel of the Skylink cycle through multiple colours as it goes through its power on sequence:
- Green = Initial power on
- Red = Unit in bootloader mode
- Blue Blink = OS (operating system) is booting
- Blue Steady = Unit is ready
- Red Blink = Iridium modem firmware upgrade
- Blue Blink = SkyLink firmware upgrade
If the power LED indicator becomes stuck on red, remove the power and wait until the LED goes our completely (this can take several minutes, so if you can't see the LED, wait at least 5 minutes at this step). Once the Skylink has completely shut down, re-apply the power. If the LED continues to display red, please contact us for further support.
